Who is Jason Nance?
Jason is the energetic, creatively intuitive, adaptive, self-driving force behind Prescott’s busiest professional painting business, B&M Painting. “It is our pleasure is to serve the Greater Prescott area with interior and exterior residential and commercial paint and coatings.”
A Local Family Business
First, Jason founded Paint Plus in 1997, and then he and his dad, Robert Mucha established B&M Painting before his dad retired. Jason continues to produce quality workmanship, explaining that his passions are centered on “…doing what I like to do: and I am blessed!”
Jason’s Painting and Artistic Heritage
Interestingly, the “B&M” in B&M Painting stands for “Boys and Mucha.” You see, Jason’s great-great-grandfather was the renowned artist Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), a Czech painter and illustrator. Consequently, Mucha rose to fame in Paris during the Art Nouveau period. In fact, his work became some of the best-known during that era—highly acclaimed for his theatrical posters, decorative illustrations, and advertisements.
Down the Family Line
Similarly, like his great-great-grandfather, Jason’s sense of design and focus on detail is unrivaled. Overall, Jason sees every project he undertakes as an empty canvas and goes to work creating a masterpiece.
No “One-Coat Wonders!” says Jason
Furthermore, Jason Nance recognizes that whether the project is painting or repainting one room or enhancing an entire property, as a rule, every client is making an investment. For this reason, he uses only the highest quality paints and coating products available. Importantly, Jason cuts no corners. Says Nance, “We have all seen those ‘one-coat wonders.’ They don’t last. Our maxim is, ‘Making Sure People Get at Least Two Coats!’”
Since 2003…
Jason started his business in 2003, with an emphasis on effectively staining and finishing waterproof decks. Even so, the preparation of every surface requires great care and precision. In short, waterproofing is the only method a deck will stand up to the harsh weather, moisture, winds, and UV rays found in north-central Arizona. Likewise, Nance understands that preparation is really the most critical stage of any project.
Growing with the Community
He is an active member of the Yavapai County Contractors Association for 20+ years. Often Jason is involved in many projects that enrich our community. An avid animal lover, he has done a massive amount of work for one of his favorite organizations: the Yavapai Humane Society.
