So Much for Which to be Thankful
This week, as American families gather on Thanksgiving Day in the freest and most prosperous nation in the world, we are so thankful! We are thankful for the customers we serve here in the Prescott area and thankful for the opportunity to be of service to them.
Thanksgiving in the Land of the Free
The Founders of our great nation were not perfect human beings, but they loved freedom and individualism. They set forth principles for forming a union based on, above all, the highest ideals of the human race. Nowhere else in the world had that ever been accomplished. Their foundational principles have guided our wonderful nation through times of prosperity as well as seasons of peril.
Thankful for the Land of Self-Determination
In the United States, there is freedom of opportunity to be the best we can be through individual initiative. That is something for which to indeed be thankful. Free enterprise has allowed self-determination to blossom. Individualism and free-market capitalism have done more to lift people out of poverty than any other system of economics in history. In the past quarter of the century, every sector of the population has seen its opportunities grow. Their incomes have risen accordingly. This includes minorities, women, and those on every level of income.
Pressing On…
Has our nation been without faults? Of course not, because all human beings have flaws. But we press on toward the greatest ideals possible. French philosopher and diplomat Alexis de Tocqueville admired the principles on which our nation was founded. He said,
“The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults.”
Thankful for Our Customers
You, our customers, make it possible for us to enjoy our success here in the Quad-Cities and beyond. We are thankful to have been able to help them fulfill their dreams and The American Dream:
- Jeff Sparks, in Prescott Valley, told us, “Jason with B&M Painting was excellent in reviewing what needed to be accomplished after flood damage to a portion of the house. The crew that worked on the house was timely, personable and professional.”
- Linda B, in Chino Valley, said, “It is nice to know that someone still cares and is willing to take great measures to assure me that my home is professionally painted. I just want to say thank you for all your hard work, quality, and cleanliness.”
- Lawrence Wood, from Prescott, wrote, “Owner Jason Nance and his crew of five men took pride in their work, taking their time to do it carefully.”
